Remedica ENP got a double with 78-59 against EAS Omonia, in the context of the 20th game of the OPAP Basket League. The team of Paralimni, with its 12th pink card, reached 30 points and climbed to third place in the standings, while the team of Nicosia is in sixth place with 25 points.
Jasmine Ferguson became the MVP of the match with 20 points (6 three-pointers, 3 rebounds, 9 assists).
Omonia entered the game with a series of eight points (8-0), while in the 4th minute Tretyakov's layup made it 12-5. The Union came close and in the 7th minute Robinson with two points brought the game to a draw (15-15). The first ten minutes ended in a 19-19 draw.
The "purple" entered with a series of 11 points in the second ten minutes and in the 14th minute with Ferguson's three-pointer it became 30-19. The first half ended with the team of Paralimni having a difference of 13 points (28-41).
In the 27th minute, the Union opened the scoring gap even more with the difference reaching 28 points (32-60). The "greens" in the last minutes of the third period made a series of seven points and so it became 62-45. The guests kept the difference at the same levels and took the victory with 78-59, which was formed with a three-pointer by Zartilas in the last seconds.
