The Pancyprian Union of Government Doctors (PA.SY.K.I.) with its announcement, invites the Ministry of Health and the competent administration of the Larnaca - Famagusta Directorate OKYYP, to be placed and inform the society, in relation to the death of a citizen who was undergoing dialysis.
PA.SY.K.I., in an announcement states that it finds an effort to transfer and assign responsibilities to the Nephrologists of the Nephrology Clinic of the General Hospital of Larnaca.
He asks the Ministry of Health and the OKYPY to inform what actions they have taken for the proper operation of the Hemodialysis Department of the General Hospital of Famagusta, from the moment they became aware and accepted the request for a rest permit.
"They should inform about the solutions and how they implemented them. Is it by applying the appointment cancellation process? And finally, they should answer what are the overall effects on the affected patients ", says PASYKI.
He also notes that "such administrative acts, as well as the avoidance of official position by the Larnaca - Famagusta Directorate are that tarnish the image of the State Hospitals and therefore await the intervention of the Ministry of Health itself."
