Paralimni marina marks for Paralimni the largest and most important development infrastructure project, said last night the Mayor of Paralimni Theodoros Pyrillis, during the official presentation of the final design of the marina that took place in Nicosia.

A press release of the Municipality of Paralimni states that "the official presentation of the final design of the project took place in the presence of the President of the Republic, the Speaker of Parliament, the Deputy Minister of Tourism and other political officials and actors. The project is owned by PMV Maritime Holdings Ltd, in collaboration with J&P, Marina Projects and Nicolaides & Kontouris Metal company Ltd. The architect of the project is the British house Harper Downie Creative Architecture in collaboration with Kythreotis Architects and the landscaping will be done by Calmins house ".
Paralimni Marina "will have 300 berths with all the necessary support services, reception area for boat owners and their crews, fuel, special boat equipment stores and exclusive police, customs and part of the Aliens and Immigration Service. The plan also envisages the construction of 123 apartments, three villas and a beach park, while the owners and the public will be able to enjoy services from shops, cafes, bars and restaurants ".
The Mayor of Paralimni, Theodoros Pyrillis, in his own speech stated, among other things, that "Paralimni marina marks for Paralimni the largest and most important development infrastructure project, life project, with strong positive omens, for enrichment and modernization of the tourist product, both in the Municipality, as well as in the province of Famagusta. The synergy of Paralimni marina with Ayia Napa marina will significantly contribute to the establishment of a single navigation zone, thus completing the strategic planning of maritime tourism on the east side of our island ", he noted.
Mr. Pyrillis warmly thanked the company Nikolaidis and Kountouris LTD and especially Stavros Kountouris and his children Anthoulis and Antonis who, as he characteristically said, "shared their visions with ours", the company of Ioannou and Paraskevaidis who took over as contractor , the engineering consultants Marina Projects, the Minister of Trade and Industry George Lakkotrypis and the Marine Committee for their contribution to the whole effort.
