The Famagusta Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EVEA) will offer five thousand euros to the Famagusta General Hospital, which operates as a Reference Hospital.
A press release of the Chamber states that "EVEA could not remain uninvolved in the great battle against the coronavirus. For this reason, the Board of Directors unanimously decided to proceed with the granting of a donation of five thousand euros to the General Hospital of Famagusta for the purchase of equipment, to cover its immediate needs ".
The Chamber "expresses once again its support to the people of the free province of Famagusta. At the same time, he extends his warmest thanks to the medical and paramedical staff for the dedication and self-sacrifice he shows in order to win this battle ".
EVEA "calls on everyone to comply with the instructions issued by the Ministry of Health and the State in general and to take all necessary protection measures."
