The Police, on the occasion of today's incident of theft of a sum of money from the residence of an elderly couple, calls on the public to be very careful and cautious in allowing access to their home to strangers.
According to a relevant complaint made by a 92-year-old resident of the province of Famagusta, around 2.30 p.m. Two women, aged between 25 and 50, entered his home today and, claiming to be working in a hospital, offered his wife a therapeutic massage. Then, according to the complaint, one of the two women asked to use the toilet of the house, while after some time the 92-year-old found that a cash register in the living room had been stolen in the amount of € 1.050 and until he left the house. the two women were gone.
On the occasion of the above incident, the Police calls on the public again and especially the elderly to be very careful and when approached by strangers, not to show confidence easily.
