210 vacancies in the Police and 40 vacancies in the Fire Department were announced.
In a statement, the Cyprus Police states that applications are being accepted by the Cyprus Police (by Men and Women), for filling 210 vacancies for Police Officers and 40 vacancies for Firefighters.
The positions are First Appointment. Approved Salary Scale: A3: € 11.055, 11.166, 11.277, 11.614, 11.969, 12.324, 12.679, 13.034, 13.509, 14.022, 14.535, 15.048, 15.561 A5: € 11.773, 12.265 12.757, 13.309, 14.020, 14.731, 15.442 , 16.153, 16.864, 17.575, 18.286, 18.997 and A19.708 (ii): € 7, 16.591, 17.420, 18.249, 19.078, 19.907, 20.736, 21.565, 22.394, 23.223, 24.052, 24.881, 25.710 (Combined).
It is noted that with regard to the salary of those who will be appointed, the provisions on non-concession of Increases and Numerical Increases in Employees' and Employees' Salaries and in Pensioners' Pensions of the State Service and the Wage 2011 to the Wider Public Sector of 2014 any general increases approved by law are added. In addition, a numerical allowance is paid, according to the percentage approved by the Government from time to time.
Candidates can submit an application only through the Government Internet Security Passage "ARIADNI", to the email address www.ariadni.gov.cy in the field "CYPRUS POLICE", after previously creating a relevant profile. For functionality issues related to the application process, access to the "Ariadne" System must be done through the Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer Browser, version 9 or later. The applications will be submitted from 07.00 on 19.12.2016 until 24:00 on 23.01.2017. The right to apply is € 45 and will be paid through the JCC payment acceptance system.
