We love quinoa, kale and salmon, as well as any person who wants to eat healthy. But a diet with vegetables, whole grains and lean protein in a constant alternation between them is not the best strategy for a lean, healthy body. "Bowing down" smartly is what will really help you lose weight and keep it off forever, experts say.
The reason;
"When you regularly enjoy something you like, it helps you keep your motivation alive and keeps you away from the clutter," explains Klio Dimitriadou, clinical dietitian-nutritionist.

 It also makes you happy. "Enjoyable experiences, such as eating a food you crave, release chemically good moods into the brain," she explains. And the best mood you have afterwards makes it easier for you to maintain your overall healthy habits.
Yes, you need the dessert

 Trying to stay away from the most delicious foods, or feeling guilty about eating them, will work against you. Our bodies are biologically programmed to crave sweets and fats, according to research.

 "For weight loss, food for your soul is just as important as food for your body," says the nutritionist.
"And when you enjoy a dessert that you crave, you do just that."
A Cornell University study found that people who enjoyed different flavors and ate a wide variety of foods had lower BMIs than those who consistently chose the same foods. A new taste experience is so enjoyable that you do not feel the need to overeat, say researchers.
