For the 3rd consecutive year, the Youth Council of the Municipality of Paralimni and the Municipality of Paralimni co-organize the festival of pluralism and interculturalism entitled "Tastes of the world".
The festival is implemented within the framework of the "Mosaic of Cultures" program carried out by the Municipality of Paralamni. The event will be held on Saturday, September 30 at 20:00 in the Municipal Event Square "Lefkolla" in Protaras.
The aim of the festival is to acquaint the local community of the free province of Famagusta, with cultures of other peoples through a gastronomic, musical and dance "journey" that promotes the value of multiculturalism.
At the same time, the public will have the opportunity to watch the parade that will take place on the main street of Protaras, accompanied by the percussion group "Batucinio".
The festival is organized within the renewed program "Mosaic of Cultures" which aims at the smooth integration of refugees, asylum seekers and immigrants in the local community of the free province of Famagusta.
The program "Mosaic of Cultures" is implemented by the Municipality of Paralimni, in collaboration with the Municipalities of Ayia Napa, Deryneia and Sotira.
