First visit after the failed coup
Anchor: The request of 40 Turkish officers for asylum in Germany is the latest in a series of problems between Berlin and Ankara, which will dominate Merkel's first visit to Turkey since the failed coup.
On the agenda is the refugee, the Turkish annoyance for "German tolerance" to Kurds, while many in Germany ask Merkel to raise the issue of civil liberties and to speak out in the Turkish referendum.
