A three-year-old was playing with oil and setting fire to a house

A fire broke out in a house in Livadia, Larnaca, when a minor (3 years old) was playing with solid oil, which after lighting it fell on the sofa in the room.

According to the press release of the Fire Service, the child did not suffer anything, however the fire destroyed the furniture of the room, while the smoke and heat affected the whole room.

The call for the fire in the house located in Livadia in Larnaca was received by the Fire Service at 16:55. The fire was extinguished before the arrival of the Fire Service by a firefighter who was off duty and was passing by the scene at that time.

The Larnaca Fire Station "Deputy Andreas Papadopoulos" responded to the incident with 2 vehicles but was limited to the inspection only because the fire had already been reduced.
