A tragedy occurred in Thessaloniki with a 44-year-old convenience store employee losing his life after being attacked by a ruthless robber.
The perpetrator broke into the store at 4 in the morning, on Gr. Lambraki Street, in Toumpa.
According to information from the police, he reached the spot on foot and was holding a pistol.
According to the first information, the gunman who broke into the store with the aim of robbery, hit the employee on the head with the handle of the pistol, causing him head injuries.
At the scene are police officers of the sub-directorate of forensic investigations of Northern Greece who are collecting information to lead to the identification and arrest of the perpetrator.
