Harry Klynn has died. The popular 78-year-old actor has been suffering from health problems and has been confined to a wheelchair lately.

According to ERT, Harry Klynn died last night.

He was born in Kalamaria, Thessaloniki, on May 7, 1940, to a poor family of Pontian refugees, Nikos and Kyriaki Triantaphyllides.

His participation in a talent night of George Economides changes his life, as, in addition to the first prize, he wins Economidis' proposal to follow him to Athens.

For three years, Economides was his teacher and guide. In parallel with his dramatic studies at the school of P. Katselis, he occasionally appears in secular centers, such as "Kastro", "Brahos", "Trocadero", "Alsos", and "Green Park".

After participating in two films ("Marriage in Greek" and "The 201 Canaries") in the early 1960s and his first theatrical performances at the Acropolis and Hadjichristou theaters, he began to become better known.

In 1964 he traveled to Montreal for a few appearances.

He returned to Greece in the winter of 1974 and first appeared in Plaka's bars. Then he worked at the nightclubs "Diogenis", "Deilina" and "Stork". He became widely known with the release of his first album "For tying", released by Columbia in the fall of 1978.

He made many appearances on television and gave performances in the theaters of Orpheus, Grove, Dolphinarium and Minoa and others, breaking box office records.
