The news has caused horror with an 8-year-old girl in Rhodes, who, as everything shows, fell victim to sexual abuse.
Authorities are investigating the case, following a preliminary investigation ordered by the competent prosecutor following a complaint, while custody was temporarily removed by his mother.
The medical examiner ruled that there were signs of abuse on the child's body and occult areas.
It has not been clarified so far, however, the way in which these were caused, with the result that the possibility that the minor has self-injured has not been duly ruled out (the chances are considered small but exist).
Due to the mental deprivation of the child, her examination, yesterday, in the presence of a child psychologist, before an officer of the Rhodes Security Sub-Directorate, was not enlightening.
The child psychologist in her long testimony did not clearly conclude yesterday what happened.
Other sessions and other ways of approaching the child will obviously be required in order to competently clarify what has happened.
The mother tried to sell her last child with her Roma partner
According to an ERT report, the 8-year-old girl goes to a special school in Rhodes, while the 8-year-old's parents are separated, with her father missing as he works as a sailor.
The mother of the 8-year-old, who is also said to have mental retardation, has four children from two partners.
In fact, last April, she gave birth to her last child with her Roma partner, who reportedly tried to sell something that was prevented.
