The local community of Profitis Ilias is still "numb", but also the whole of Crete from the loss of a young man, who from one moment to the next lost his life, after a wasp bite.
The family, relatives and fellow villagers of the 30-year-old A.X., who "left" due to an allergic shock, which he suffered when he was bitten by a wasp, while he was doing agricultural work on Saturday afternoon in a field, are mourning. in the area of Profitis Ilias.
The unfortunate young man, who was married with two children, tried at that time to save himself, as he always had with him the medication recommended for cases of allergies, as he knew he was allergic, but unfortunately, as it turned out, he was unlucky. .
It is recalled that an EKAB ambulance with the rescuers rushed to the spot and picked up the young father.
The doctor and the rescuers found out that the 30-year-old had suffered a heart attack, but they managed to bring him back to life.
He was taken to the hospital with a pulse with the doctors from the first moment to report that his condition was critical.
Unfortunately, a little while later, the young man left his last breath in PAGNI.
