The investigation at the highest judicial level for the rape of the 24-year-old girl in Thessaloniki was provoked by yesterday's intervention of the Prosecutor of the Supreme Court, Vassilis Pleiotas, who ordered the head of the Thessaloniki Appellate Prosecutor's Office, Angelos Kamilaris case, so that an in-depth investigation can be carried out, as required by "the gravity and seriousness of the criminal apathy of the reported-accused".
At the same time, the investigations of the judicial and police authorities in Thessaloniki are in full swing, which move in two directions: on the one hand, in the full elucidation of what happened during the party in a luxury hotel on New Year's Eve with the victim of the 24-year-old girl, who was raped and on the other hand in the search for any pimping circuit, which operated in the co-capital, in order to promote women to respective parties.
For her part, the 24-year-old girl is trying to return to her daily life, as she stated yesterday through her lawyer, while thanking the citizens for their support, although she herself feels intense fear, accepting threats, as described by the employer, speaking to Mega. of, Christos Karathanasis. "He is being hosted by some people at the moment because you realize that he is scared, it is a circuit of the night, it is a circuit that is entangled, the threats are too many and it is guarded. Protecting herself has every right to do so. "She is not alone, every day there is a gathering next to her, she is not alone", stressed Mr. Karathanasis.
In the meantime, in her third statement to the investigating authorities last Friday, the 24-year-old girl allegedly identified a second person involved in the case, out of the three who dragged her to the suite, while it remains to be seen if she was thrown drugs or other substance. in her drink, as she speculates, in order to bend her resistance.
In the last few hours, however, there has been widespread unrest in the city of Thessaloniki, where yesterday a protest march took place outside the beach cafe, in which one of the people involved in the case was active, while the alleged action of city officials in case was not perceived as a suspicion either, despite the wide range of their social contacts.
The image, however, from the disgusting event of the New Year's stay in the luxury hotel of Thessaloniki begins and gradually fades, regarding the identity of the persons who participated in the said party. Among them is the 27-year-old businessman Vassilis Leventis, who admits that he met with the girl, but is said to have testified that everything was done with her consent and has been released on restrictive terms. As all the previous days it was circulated on social media that he had a relationship with a family that has a shareholding relationship with Coca Cola 3E, the company said in an announcement yesterday that this person has nothing to do with the business giant. His brother, Evagoras Leventis, is also said to have participated in the party, but he has not yet been summoned to testify at the Police.
On the occasion of the case, the name of Mr. Dimitris Fintirikou was published on social media, as the owner of the suite in the well-known hotel in Thessaloniki, on the day in question. This suite, however, according to the complainant's lawyer, Thanasis Ziogas, was closed in the name of the alleged perpetrator and not in the name of Mr. Fintirikos. Dimitris Fintirikos himself did not make it known that, on the "disputed" date of the alleged rape, he was abroad. In addition, Mr. Fintirikos states that he can prove his absence, while the well-known influencer Ioanna Touni was also involved in the case, who on the one hand "acquitted" him for the leak of the revenge porn video starring her and on the other added her own testimony of his absence abroad.

More results in the investigation of the case are expected to shed light on the results of the forensic laboratories of ELAS, where clothes of the victim have been transferred, as well as men's clothes found in the suite, during the investigations. The findings include the keys to the room in the same hotel, which the 24-year-old girl had booked in order to sleep, as well as an erectile stimulation pill. At the same time, the data that the Authorities are now investigating are the security cameras of the hotel, the girl's mobile phone and the calls she received, but also the possibility that she was given a substance, which resulted in the semi-willing state in which she found herself.
According to her lawyer, the girl fell victim to the blind trust she showed in a person she had hitherto considered her "friend", who invited her to the party, as they had known each other before, as the girl was a guest in his well-known cafe. center of Thessaloniki, in which the latter was active. "Someone who trusted him, seduced her, sent her to the wolf's mouth", Mr. Ziogas described characteristically, referring, as it turns out, to Manos Papadopoulos of "Achillion".
According to what the 24-year-old has conveyed through her lawyer, she accepted in good faith the invitation to participate in the New Year party. According to her testimony, she went to the party with a friend of hers, while there the two girls met another acquaintance of theirs. Papadopoulos had told her, after all, that it was a gathering between good friends, among them a well-known businessman from Athens.
According to the victim's lawyer, the girl actually went to the party, drank a few drinks and at some point all together the girls wanted to leave. Then the 24-year-old, as she began to feel dizzy, tried to locate her car, while the other two girls had already left together. However, as she could not find her car, she called Papadopoulos, who had invited her to the party, to help her. According to her, he eventually persuaded her to return to the party.
The girl, however, continued to feel unwell and for this reason preferred to book another room in the same hotel and sleep, to recover, since she lives -according to her lawyer- in a "remote village" of the Municipality of Lagada, Thessaloniki, so it would not be easy to return her.
Heading to her room on the fourth floor of the hotel, however, she was spotted by three men, who allegedly also attended the party, who blocked her way and asked her where she was going. According to the 24-year-old's complaint, she explained to them that she was dizzy and was going to sleep, however the three men, including the "businessman from Athens", ie Leventis, dragged her to a suite, telling her that she would it's better for her in that situation. "
Waking up, however, the girl the next morning, found herself alone, without underwear and in a room she did not know. Severely disturbed, as she did not remember anything that had happened, she immediately called her "friend", who had invited her to the party, asking to know where she was, why she was in that place and what had happened before. Then he, according to what the girl testified to the Authorities, asked her to visit him at his house. The 24-year-old then hung up the phone and called her lawyer, who advised her to go to the police and report her rape, as she did.
The fatal… mistake
The girl was "certain that she was raped" and on January 2, she went to the White Tower Police Department to report the incident and file a rape lawsuit. She did not remember the names of the alleged perpetrators, according to information from protothema.gr, however, one of them had made the "mistake" of calling her on her mobile phone.
So, the young woman gave his phone number to the police and they proceeded to arrest the businessman Vassilis Leventis. In fact, on the same day, the General Police Directorate of Thessaloniki stated in a post on social media that "Early today, police officers of the TA. "White Tower was arrested for 27 years for alleged rape against a 24 year old".
The 27-year-old detainee, Vassilis Leventis, admitted that he had an affair with the girl, but claimed that what happened was with her consent. The revelations
Meanwhile, the revelation of the disgusting case, which took place in the early hours of the morning, was triggered by a post on social media on January 14 by activist Elias Gionis, who is the man who had revealed the abusive actions of Stathis Panagiotopoulos. With the news circulating on the Greek internet in a few hours, the beach restaurant "Achilleion" immediately stopped its collaboration with Papadopoulos, who was initially "photographed" as the owner of the cafe, announcing in an announcement that "with employee, who allegedly participated in the incident, our cooperation has already been terminated. Fintirikou's refutation: I was absent abroad
