Siri is good at simple things like making appointments, texting, calling someone and searching for information on the internet, however what we would all definitely like is for Siri to be able to control a few things in our home.A Reddit user got tired of turning the Philips Hue bulbs on and off himself, so he used some clever hacking and managed to get Siri to do it for him. In the video below you can see that it may not respond as fast as we would like, however if there was an official API for Siri released then surely the various accessory manufacturers would make the most of it bringing much better results.
To hack, the Reddit user also used a jailbroken iPod that sent commands to a Siri proxy, while Siri beeps were replaced with WAV files by Iron Man's Jarvis.
