The Consumer Protection Agency of the Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry, given the high demand for "Sponsorship Plan to encourage the use of RES and RES in residences 2024-2025" and in particular for the new category A3 "Photovoltaics for All", urges consumers to carry out the required market research, so that they can make the most advantageous choice.

In this direction, it is noted that the price should not be the only criterion, since special importance should be given to the performance of the photovoltaic system and its other technical specifications. Given that over 100 will be included in the lists of the Plan Participating Merchants, many alternative options are offered to consumers. Therefore, proper market research is necessary to make the best possible choice for each consumer.

It is clarified in this respect that the total amount of the investment covered by the Plan is up to €5.000 and that any expenditure beyond this amount should be paid by the applicant directly to the Participating Merchant. Consumers are therefore asked to take into account that, based on the applications received by the RES and E.E. Fund last year, it is found that there is a large variation in prices and that systems are available on the market within the specifications and the amount covered by the aid .
