Famous actor Bob Saget, who became widely known as Danny Tanner in the comedy series "Full House", has died at the age of 65. The unfortunate news of his death was confirmed by his family in a statement to CNN.
"We are devastated to confirm that our beloved Bob has died today," the Saget family said in a statement.
"It was everything to us and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, making live appearances and bringing people from all walks of life together through laughter. "Although we are asking for privacy right now, we invite you to join us in remembering the love and laughter that Bob owed to the world."
The actor was found dead in a hotel room on Sunday in Grande Lakes, according to a statement from the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
"The man was identified as Robert Saget. "Detectives found no signs of fighting or drug use," the sheriff said in a statement.
Earlier today, deputies were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes for a call about an unresponsive man in a hotel room. The cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner, the Sheriff's office added.
