Heartbreaking are the moments recorded by citizens in the city of Alto Garcσαςa in Brazil and show a baby crying in a pool of blood in front of the corpses of his parents who had just been brutally murdered in the middle of the street.
Nicolas Albuquerque Do Prado and Clintiana Alixandre, 18 and 19 respectively, were gassed to death in front of their little boy in the middle of the street, leaving the orphan child to sit in the blood.
The couple, who allegedly had relations with drug dealers, traveled to the city with their 10-month-old child. When they got out of the vehicle, the young couple was shot by two men in front of a property believed to be a drug hiding place..
The owner of the property who witnessed the horrific scene said to the authorities that she did not recognize the suspects, who left quickly on a motorcycle.

The baby was crying full of his parents' blood
The shocking shots from the scene show the baby covered in blood as he sat crying on his parents' lifeless bodies, trying to move towards them.
Although he was not hit by the gunfire, the baby was taken to hospital for first aid for injuries sustained when he fell to the ground.
Police said the parents were believed to have been involved in drug trafficking and gangs.
Do Prado had previously been convicted of drug trafficking and wanted for two counts of robbery, while Alexandre was arrested for taking stolen goods, local media reported.
The murder rate is increasing
Last year, despite its pandemic Covid-19, the percentage homicides in Brazil increased by 4%, equivalent to 23,6 people per 100.000 inhabitants.
According to data published earlier this year in the 15th Yearbook of the Brazilian Public Safety Forum (FBSP), in 2020, Brazil experienced 50.033 homicides, a sharp increase from the 47.742 murders in 2019. Rising poverty, , gang wars and the widespread availability of weapons are considered to be the reasons for the alarming increase.
There has also been an increase in police killings, with 6416 people killed by authorities within a year.
