The French public is in shock after the suicide of an 11-year-old boy who decided to end his life after a classmate complained that he was harassing him.
The 11-year-old was going to school on the outskirts of Paris and committed suicide today, a few hours after being called from his school for explanations.
Before jumping out of the window, the student wrote a letter of apology to his classmate who "had accepted the harassment", became known today by the prosecutor. The 11-year-old had already been punished by his mother.
Justice has launched an investigation into the "search for the causes of his death", which was undertaken by the police in Vitri sur Sen, where the events took place.
