Yesterday the total number of cases of coronavirus was 105.792 and 12.428 people had died, while 15.729 had been treated.

In the last twenty-four hours, that is, 727 patients lost their lives (compared to 837 yesterday) and 2.937 new cases were recorded (from yesterday's 2.107). In addition, 1.118 patients became negative for the virus.

Meanwhile, 4.035 patients are in intensive care units and a total of 28.403 have been admitted to hospital. For 48.134 the house arrest has been decided.

In Lombardy the total number of incidents is 44.733 and the death toll is 7.593. In Emilia Romana the cases are 14.787 with the dead having reached 1.732. In the Veneto region, the number of people infected with the virus is 9.625, with 499 dead.

Compared to the previous twenty-four hours, the rate of transmission of the virus increases again (+ 3,8%) after six days of continuous decline. The death toll is slightly reduced. The Italian government today extended the restrictive measures until April 13, making it clear, however, that they will remain in force until necessary.
