Trump: I will declare a US state of emergency

His statement at a White House event

US President Donald Trump will declare a state of emergency in order to raise the 8 billion euros needed to build the wall on the border with Mexico, as he confirmed at an event at the White House Rose Garden.

"I will sign a national emergency as has been signed many times in the past by other presidents," Trump said.

"We do not control our borders," he insisted. "We will deal with the national security crisis on our southern borders and we will do it one way or another," he said, stressing the problem of drugs entering the United States and the issue of human trafficking.

With this move, as reported earlier by CNNi, Trump will end his dispute with Congress over the wall, a dispute that had led the US federal state to shut down for more than a month. The decision of the planetary ruler, however, will provoke a new war over whether it is an excess of power.

According to Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell, Trump will sign an executive order to avoid the possibility of a new shutdown and then declare a state of emergency.

His next move, according to a White House official, will be to raise money from different aspects of the state machine so that he can finally raise the money to build the wall.

He did not specify exactly where the $ 8 billion would come from, nor whether the president's decisions would withstand a "possible" test in the courtroom. It is almost certain that the Democrats will take the matter to court.
