Britain has thwarted nine terrorist attacks in the past 12 months, Prime Minister Theresa May's spokesman said today after briefing top ministers by MI5 chief Andrew Parker.
"Mr Parker has announced that nine terrorist attacks have been prevented in the last year," he said, referring to a cabinet meeting on the current threat posed by Britain.
