Two young Islamists accused of plotting a terrorist attack were remanded in custody until their next court appearance on December 20th.

The two young Islamists will remain in custody until the next hearing for terrorist plots against Downing Street to assassinate Prime Minister Theresa May.

Naimur Zakaria Rahman, 20, from north London, is facing terrorism charges and 21-year-old Mohamed Akib Imran from south-east Birmingham is accused of trying to join the so-called Islamic State and preparing a terrorist attack. In fact, he was trying to travel to Libya to join ISIS.

The two will appear again in the British court on December 20.

The two defendants planned to blow up the iron gate of Downing Street and then attack the prime minister's office with knives and suicide vests.
