The United Kingdom has reported more than 12.000 new confirmed cases of the highly contagious variant of the coronavirus Omicron, according to the latest daily report released today by health authorities.
The UK Health and Safety Authority said on Twitter that an additional 24 Omicron cases had been confirmed in the last 12.133 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 37.101.
