As part of the daily intensive inspections carried out by the Health Services of the Ministry of Health, for the period from 31 August to 20 September 2020, 40 inspections were carried out at social events, such as weddings, christenings, engagements in restaurants, cultural events, such as concerts. theater, dance, cinema performances, art exhibitions, etc., but also at football matches and other sporting events.

From the inspections that were carried out, a violation of the relevant Decrees was identified and an out-of-court settlement was issued. The violation concerned the non-observance of a register of spectators with all the data as provided by the relevant guidelines.

Although competent authorities are constantly on the alert and controls have intensified in recent weeks, in order to prevent a new outbreak of cases and to control the situation in a timely manner, all citizens need to be mobilized and raised.

By the way, the need is repeated for all citizens to be very careful in their social contacts and to faithfully implement the measures of social distancing and personal hygiene. At the same time, it is reminded that, in case of development of symptoms (cough, fever, shortness of breath, anosmia, indigestion and tastelessness), citizens should immediately contact their Personal Physician for evaluation and referral for laboratory examination, if necessary.

The increase in the number of cases in recent days, makes it imperative that all citizens act responsibly and seriously, adhering to the health protocols and guidelines in force. Experience so far has shown that only with discipline from everyone can we achieve our goal, which is none other than the protection of individuals who fall into vulnerable groups and, consequently, Public Health.
