A possible case of coronavirus is being monitored at the Limassol Hospital. According to a post on Twitter by the Minister of Health, Konstantinos Ioannou, this is a man of Asian origin, who returned to Cyprus on February 25 from Milan, where he was for a month and may have come into contact with a confirmed case.
The man was under restraint and was taking protection measures, adds Mr. Ioannou.
He also says that he was admitted to the negative pressure ward of the Limassol Hospital and that the procedure provided by the relevant protocols is being followed.
Two people he came in contact with were isolated, awaiting the results from ING, the Minister of Health concludes.
