On the occasion of comments, questions, publications and posts on media and social media, regarding the "prohibition" of the Office of the Personal Data Protection Commissioner for carrying out audits in the context of monitoring the measures provided in the Decrees of the Minister of Health, I would like to clarify that no "prohibitions" have been issued by the Office, nor is the legal framework for data protection an obstacle to monitoring the implementation of measures through proper scrutiny by the relevant officials and the Police, the list of which is in the relevant Decrees and in par. 2.9 of the last Decree of the Minister of Health d. 30/6/2021.
