The situation remains stable despite the ups and downs in the number of cases, while per province the incidents are at about the same levels, with some provinces experiencing a significant decrease, said Dr. Petros Karagiannis talking about the epidemiological picture, in the SIGMA show "Front Page".
As for the percentage of positivity, as he said, now the ECDC has ranked us in the "green" countries.
He noted that the results are encouraging, however, there is a respectable number of cases in the community, which worries a little about the next relaxations.
Mr. Karagiannis expressed the hope that the fall of the daily cases will continue next week, when the decisions for the relaxation of the measures will be taken.
"I think next week is a week of decisions," he added.
Regarding the possibility of a third wave of the pandemic, he noted that the possibility is always there and the concern at the moment not only in Cyprus but also in other countries, is the mutations.
