The Police issued an arrest warrant against a prison guard of the Central Prisons for an investigated case of drug possession.
According to information, on Monday 13/11 members of the YKAN stopped a prison guard's vehicle for inspection and found adhesives which, after a laboratory test, were found to contain narcotic substances.
The jailer was questioned by the authorities and released. After evaluating the results, an arrest warrant was issued against him.
The case is being investigated by the Nicosia Police Department
