Members of the Police went to a house in Limassol around 9 last night, where there was relevant information about harassment.
As soon as the two members of the Police arrived at the scene, a man came out of the house in question and insulted the police officer. The policeman informed him that he was under arrest while at the same time a second man came out of the house and attacked the two policemen, hitting them in the face. At the same time, two women came out of the house, who also attacked the members of the police.
All the above persons were arrested and detained. They are two men aged 46 and 36 and two women aged 35 and 50.
The two members of the Police who received the attack, visited the Limassol General Hospital where it was found that the male police officer had abrasions on his arm and neck. He was given first aid and discharged. The female police officer had bruises and abrasions on her head and body while she also suffered a concussion. She was granted sick leave for 6 days.
