The Ministry of Health announces that for the week 20 - 26 May 2022:
- 2 deaths were announced
- Relate to:
- Man, aged 77, who passed away on 20/05/2022
- Woman, aged 74, who passed away on 21/05/2022
- Total number of deaths with final cause of the disease COVID-19: 1059.
- 30 patients COVID-19 are hospitalized in OKYPY hospitals
- 8 in serious condition (ICU: 4 out of ventilator / 1 intubated, MAF: 3)
- 10 patients who have ceased to be infectious continue to be treated by intubation due to COVID in an Intensive Care Unit.
Diagnostic examinations:
- A total of 74.539 diagnostic tests were performed
- 1.774 new cases were identified (total number of cases 489.963).
- Position rate in all exams 2,38%
Total number of molecular tests (PCR):
- 5.133 molecular tests were performed
- 238 positive incidents occurred
- Positiveness rate 4,64%
Total Rapid Test:
- 69.406 rapid antigen detection tests were performed
- 1.536 positive incidents occurred
- Positiveness rate 2,21%
Tracking:
- 91 molecular tests were performed and 3 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 3,3%)
Private initiative:
- 3.611 molecular tests were performed, 187 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 5,18%)
- 57.139 rapid antigen detection tests were performed, 1.445 positive cases were detected (positivity rate 2,53%)
12.267 rapid antigen detection tests were performed through the programs of the Ministry of Health. 91 positive cases were identified.
- Sampling points: 3.020 rapid detection tests 63 positive cases were detected (positivity rate 2,09%)
Education
- Primary Education: 170 rapid antigen detection tests, no positive cases detected (0% positivity rate)
Other
- National Guard: 635 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and 2 positive cases were detected (positivity rate 0,31%)
- Nursing homes: 3.695 rapid antigen detection tests were performed, 25 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 0,68%)
- Closed structures: 4.747 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and 1 new case was detected (0,02% positivity rate).
