In Famagusta, 335 inspections were carried out and there were 3 complaints from citizens

In the last 10 hours, the Police proceeded with complaints from 2 citizens and 24 premises, after 2.096 inspections carried out throughout Cyprus, in order to ascertain the observance and implementation of the decrees of the Law on Infection.

According to a representative of the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters, 580 checks were carried out in Nicosia, out of which 2 complaints were made by citizens, while in Limassol 190 checks were carried out, from which 1 citizen complaint was made.

In Larnaca 557 inspections were carried out with 3 complaints of citizens, in Paphos 165 inspections were carried out, from which 1 citizen and 2 premises complaints were reported, in Famagusta 335 inspections were carried out and there were 3 complaints of citizens, while in Morfos area 153 inspections were carried out without complaint .

Also, all over Cyprus, the Traffic Police carried out 112 inspections, without any complaint.

Finally, the Port Police carried out 4 checks without a complaint.

In relation to the complaints of the two premises in Paphos, one concerned the person in charge of the premises who did not own the safepass and the other concerned an employee who served customers without wearing a mask. An extrajudicial fine of 500 euros was imposed in each case.
