Poaching searches were carried out today in the province of Limassol, in the framework of a joint operation of the Republic Police and the British Bases. One person was arrested for poaching and illegal possession of firearms.
According to an announcement by BB, a total of six houses were searched, two of which were within an area owned by the Bases.
During a search in Paramali, police found a hare, a shotgun, a number of cartridges and a four-wheeled motorcycle, which had been reported stolen, while they arrested a man for the crimes of poaching and illegal possession of firearms.
