Before the court, in a closed session, the next actions will be decided in relation to the 13-year-old who yesterday allegedly injured his peer with a hammer, on the occasion of a controversy over an online game. The 15-year-old, who accompanied the minor, was taken to the Adolescent Inpatient Department last night.

Police continue to investigate a case of attempted murder, with the evidence showing, as stated by the head of the Limassol TAE, Lefteris Kyriakou, that "the two minors had conspired before, in order to kill the 13-year-old student."

The fact is reinforced by the evidence that was found, since in addition to the hammer was found a knife with a 25 cm blade, as well as a bag that the two young men had hidden in an open area next to the school and in which there were five kitchen knives, a chopper and other items.

The 13-year-old and the 15-year-old, after being interrogated yesterday at the offices of TAE Limassol in the presence of their parents and employees of the Social Welfare Services, were examined by a child psychologist.

It was decided for the 15-year-old to be taken to the Department of Inpatient Hospitalization for Adolescents, while for the 13-year-old, who is criminally irresponsible, the court is expected to decide on further.

As for the 13-year-old victim of the attack, he continues to be treated out of danger, with a skull fracture, at Makareio Hospital, in Nicosia.
