The number of registered unemployed rose to 13.977 in November, presenting decrease of 57,6% on an annual basis, with the reduction attributed mainly to the catering and accommodation services, manufacturing and trade sectors.
At the same time, according to the data of the Statistical Service, based on the data corrected for seasonal fluctuations, which show the trend of unemployment, the number of registered unemployed in November 2021 decreased to 14.857 persons compared to 15.154 in the previous month, recording a declining continuous course from May 2020.
In terms of actual data, the reduction of almost 19.000 people in the number of registered unemployed is attributed to the sectors of accommodation services and catering services with a decrease of 4.656, trade (decrease of 3.839) and manufacturing (decrease of 1.229).
The annual decrease is also due to the sectors of transport and storage (decrease 990), construction (decrease 887), as well as the decrease of 1.375 persons recorded to new entrants to the labor market.
