The Police are once again calling on the public to be especially careful, since a new form of telephone fraud has appeared, with the astute pretending to be calling from the Securities and Exchange Commission.
According to the complaints, the vigilantes, who speak the Greek language, tell unsuspecting citizens that they are calling from the Capital Market Commission, on the occasion of suspicious activity on their bank accounts.
The hackers ask for either personal information of citizens or to give them access to their computers.
The Police, on the occasion of this new form of fraud, once again calls on the citizens to be especially careful and not to answer or respond to what may be asked of them in such telephone calls, because it is a fraud.
