At the same time, the MPs proposed the implementation of measures to reduce operating costs, flexibility in agricultural payment programs (hectare, capital, agri-environmental measures), immediate refund of VAT to farmers, acceleration of the process of payment of compensation through the Agricultural Management Plan. "The Minister informed us that all the beneficiaries will have been paid before Easter," he said.

At the same time, a consultation was held on the bill which amends the "Law on Protection and Welfare of Animals".

According to the regulations of the Parliament, the bill will be submitted to the Plenary Session of the body next Wednesday, with a request from the Government to be voted by the procedure of urgency. Mr. Kafkaulias noted that his party will take a stand on the bill in plenary.
