Epidemiologists and the Ministry of Health are looking for ways to keep the schools open but also not to further burden the country's health system. With the suggestion for stricter restrictions not being in the plans of the experts, the Minister of Health and epidemiologists are focusing on changes in the protocols concerning the schools, as the 80 positive cases that were identified with the return of the students create intense concern. The course of hospitalizations and the numbers recorded day by day is one of the key points of reference for the specialists and the government, in terms of taking any measures. The tightening of decisions may, so far, be considered a remote scenario, however, the Minister of Health noted that in the event of a rapid increase in hospitalization, then the government will move to new restrictions.

"Emergency"

Yesterday, the Minister of Health and the members of the epidemiological team had their regular meeting, with the Minister going to the Council of Ministers today with specific proposals. The epidemiological picture was evaluated at the meeting, while information states that suggestions were made on the table to tighten the measures, which will be implemented if and when the situation worsens. The experts submitted their suggestions in order to take additional measures where necessary, while various thoughts fell on the table, in case the hospitalizations increase dramatically and the public hospitals are under suffocating pressure. Among the "emergency" measures is the reinstatement of the evening traffic ban, but also the closure of recreation areas for a few weeks. Based on what the Minister of Health said, after the end of the meeting with the epidemiologists, at the moment there is no suggestion of the epidemiologists for stricter measures, but also no suggestion regarding the non-vaccinated.
