The weather is rainy today, with the scene continuing tomorrow according to the director of the Department of Meteorology.
Speaking to Mesimeri and Kati, Mr. Kleanthis Nikolaidis said that March may be gone according to the calendar, but it has taken with it other consequences.
"We had a mild winter season, the month of March is one of the transition months and as a transition month it can hide many surprises. said Mr. Cleanthis.
He added that at the moment there are storms in several areas of Cyprus stressing that the wind field is also increased.
He went on to say, "We will have effects during the rest of the day until late afternoon while it is possible that the effects tonight will be more focused on the coasts with temperatures today being slightly above normal. Tomorrow we will have cloudy weather again and it is expected that tomorrow we will have isolated rains or even storms".
Asked what the weather will be like on Easter, he said, "the long week has its own mythology, we always have rain on Good Friday, but it is too early to say what the weather is expected to be for those days."
