Today the landscape is expected to be clarified and the final decisions will be taken in relation to the Test to Stay measure, announced by the Government and concerning the Primary and Secondary Education students, who are contacts.
Specifically, the final decisions on this measure are expected to be taken during a meeting, at 15:00, between the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth, Prodromos Prodromos, the Minister of Health, Michalis Hadjipandelas, the Head of the Epidemiological Team, Konstantinos representatives of educational and parent organizations.
The specific measure that would be implemented, according to the announcements of the Government from this Monday, will not be implemented from today due to the reactions that emerged from educational organizations and organized parents. During the meeting, the ways of its application will be examined, ie whether the measure will be carried out by self test or rapid test or in another way.
The Minister of Education has stated that the Ministry is doing everything possible and suggestions, if any, are being adopted to find solutions that meet these conditions.
Mr. Prodromou stressed that "there is no sense in reacting", to note that "unfortunately there was an uproar and concern, prejudging what would happen, while the practical application has not been precisely determined".
