The health condition of the 14-year-old who was abducted yesterday by a passing vehicle in Kato Paphos is characterized as serious but out of danger, while the second young man, also 14 years old, after receiving first aid, was discharged.
According to the Police, at 20:10 a vehicle of unknown elements driven by a hitherto unknown driver on Kato Pervolion Street, under conditions under investigation, hit and injured two 14-year-olds who were moving on the road. Specifically, one 14-year-old was pushing the other with a supermarket trolley.
The driver of the unknown vehicle left the scene.
The two 14-year-olds were injured in the collision. An ambulance was called to the scene to transport the two children to the Accident and Emergency Department of the Paphos General Hospital.
One 14-year-old was fired with minor injuries while the second suffered, according to the doctor on duty, serious injuries, after suffering fractures in the pelvis and leg as well as a lung fracture. His condition is characterized as serious but out of danger.
The examinations continue to locate the driver who left the scene, by the Paphos Traffic Police.
