The measure of carrying out possession controls SafePass, through the CovScan Cyprus application, will be applied optional and pilot from November 8 to November 22 and then it will become mandatory, in order to give the necessary time to adapt and familiarize, with the process of both those in charge of the inspections and the citizens, informs the Ministry of Health.
In its announcement, on the occasion of yesterday's decision of the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Health states that with this arrangement, More citizens are able to obtain the European Digital Certificate COVID, which is used for SafePass purposes, in a format containing a QR code.
More information on the mandatory implementation of the measure after 22 November, will be announced at a later stage.
