"Do you want to marry me"; To the "golden" question of the chosen one of her heart, the usual reaction of every girl is a look full of worship that screams before her voice, the answer, "Yes!".

In the case of Nikolas Georgiou, however, behind the gaze of his beloved Antheas was hidden more surprise and a question of the type: "are you crazy?", Than anything else. Of course, not because she did not love him, nor because she did not want to marry him. On the contrary, that was her dream.

In fact, a dream that was to come true on Valentine's Day, Sunday, February 14. A day that the two young people were waiting for, how and how since their wedding was originally supposed to take place last October, but was postponed due to the pandemic.

So you can imagine how they felt when last Friday, just two days before the big event, Victoria was again in a state of exclusion.

"It simply came to our notice then. "We had already canceled the marriage once, the same thing could not happen again", says the groom, Nikolas Georgiou, to "Neos Kosmos".

So, he asked Anthea decisively: "Do you want to get married tonight?". This, in turn, explains the look of the girl we described before. "Give it all to me," Nicholas said confidently and got a job.

The difficulties and the unexpected, but did not discourage him. Since it was impossible to find the priest of the church where the wedding was scheduled to take place, he looked for the priest of Agios Charalambos, who gave him the green light for 7 pm.

Until all this was done, they had three hours at their disposal. However, "as the bride and groom want θέλει" everything is possible, as the wise people say.

Phones and social media caught fire to alert families, the groomsman, bridesmaids, the photographer and all the guests.

"It was like living a dream," said the groom's mother, Krystalla, who has not yet realized that she married her first child.

"For years you have been dreaming of the marriage of your children and especially of the firstborn, such as, is Nicholas, and to become so aron - aron. "None of what we had planned happened", says Mrs. Krystalla, who, however, feels happy that the children finally got married after so many obstacles.

Everyone responded immediately to the new wedding plan of Nicholas and Anthea and although the best man was at work 2 hours outside Melbourne he managed to be in church on time with the 130 guests, a number that, as Nicholas tells us, "exceeded our every expectation "given the circumstances.

"The bridesmaids were dressed in the church", says Mrs. Krystalla who regrets because many of the wedding customs and traditions of our country could not be observed due to the situation.

"The groom dressed without the accompaniment of violins as we planned, but we managed to revive the custom of the bride dancing in the churchyard and it was really like being in a village in Greece," he says.

In addition to the traditional customs, many of the couple's designs had to be changed. The table was not held at the venue but at a restaurant near the church and the honeymoon in Queensland was replaced by a three-day stay somewhere in Victoria.

"It's important that the wedding took place. We can do everything else even a little later ", says Nikolas and adds that both he and his wife, now Anthea, are relieved that they managed to get married and sail in a sea of happiness.
