The National People's Front (E.LA.M.) has officially announced its candidates for the upcoming European elections to be held on June 9, 2024.
Anogyriatis Polys
RESUME:
Polys Anogyriatis was born on June 04, 1980 in Limassol, originally from Anogyra and Pissouri. He is the father of two children of Maya Despina and Ioannis. He graduated from St. John's High School and served his military service in the Supply and Transportation Corps.
He then studied in Larissa, in the Department of Business Administration, and later obtained a master's degree from Bristol University in England. He has established himself in the field of business, he is one of the owners of the well-known optical chain and the managing director of a food production company.
His National and social concerns led him to join the National People's Front, where he is a member of the Central Committee and District Committee of Limassol. For years, it has developed an intense social and charitable work, with food distributions, support for vulnerable groups of the population, especially children, single-parent and large families.
Geadi Geadis
RESUME:
Geadis Geadis was born in 1984 and lives in Aglantzia. His father was the well-known photographer with a rich history in the area, Michalis Geadis or otherwise "Foto Geadis", originally from Milikouri, who also participated in the National Liberation War of 55-59.
He is a scion of the Georgiadis family, related to the close associate of Georgios Grivas Digenis, Antonis Georgiadis.
His mother is a refugee from the occupied Skylloura.
Studies - Education - Training
He studied Computer Science, while in 2020 he obtained a degree in Political Science from the University of Cyprus, almost with honors.
In addition to Greek (mother tongue), she also speaks 2 languages, English and Turkish.

He worked in various companies as a computer technician and maintainer, as well as in the Cyprus Post Office and a well-known travel agency. Since 2016, he has been working as a Parliamentary Partner of E.LA.M in the House of Representatives.
Policy
From a young age he was an active citizen, with strong civic participation, actively participating in national rallies and protests along with various autonomous student and student factions.
Although he was always politicized, he was never partisan, since his national views did not identify with any of the party factions at the time.
Since the first day of establishment of the National People's Front (E.LA.M.) he has been an active executive, after he actively joined the ranks of the Movement, where he served as Nicosia Provincial, while to this day he belongs to the Political Council and is the Press Representative of the Faction.
In the European elections of 2014 and in the parliamentary elections of 2016, he stood as a candidate of the Movement. In the 2019 European Elections, he was again a candidate on the ballot of the National People's Front (E.LA.M.), where he received around 8000 votes Pan-Cypriot, while in the recent Parliamentary Elections of 2021 he received 3300 votes in Nicosia, narrowly losing the parliamentary seat.
He also participated in various political conferences and seminars in Cyprus and abroad.
At regular intervals he writes texts of an ideological nature as well as articles on the Cyprus issue, international relations, geopolitics - geostrategy, the economy, immigration and current affairs. His articles were hosted on the official website and newspaper of the National People's Front (E.LA.M.), in various daily newspapers and news websites, as well as in the prestigious magazines Foreign Affairs, Huffington Post and New Economy.
Ioannou Pavlos
RESUME:
Pavlos T. Ioannou was appointed Financial Commissioner on July 1, 2013. He was reappointed by the Council of Ministers for a second five-year term on June 28, 2018.
Pavlos T. Ioannou is an honors graduate of the Law School of the University of Athens (Economic Sciences) and holds an MSc Economic from the London School of Economics, after studying at the LSE with a scholarship from the University of Athens. He also studied Strategic Management and Decision Engineering at Northern Illinois University on a Fulbright scholarship and has completed University Studies in Mathematics and Computing. In 2010 he was awarded the John Brooks Award, in Berlin, by IFTA for his published work on the dynamics of international financial markets.
He also holds, among other things, the Master Financial Technical Analysis (IFTA) title. He has worked on various development projects and related projects of the World Bank in Indonesia, Ethiopia, Mexico, Ghana and elsewhere. He worked in a total of more than 35 countries and was a Financial Officer at the Ministry of Finance.
He was a Management Consultant at the Cyprus Intelligence Service in the period 1993-2001, specializing in the analysis of National Security information and attended several series of related training programs. He has taught Information Analysis and Decision-Making Process at the KYP School of Information during the same period. Between the years 1992-1994 he taught at the Police Academy various subjects of his specialty, at all levels of officers.
He has published many articles and interviews in Cypriot and Greek Newspapers and magazines and very often supplies the Parliamentary Committees of the House of Representatives with technical Memoranda, on issues discussed in Committee Sessions in which he is invited to participate. He also published a number of contributions in scientific yearbooks and professional journals.
Nikolaou Maria
Bio:
Maria Nikolaou was born in 1977 in Nicosia. He worked in the private sector for more than two decades. For eight years he was a financial executive at the insurance company Aspis Pronoia. Her work has always been human-centered, trying to find solutions to the issues that concerned the company's clients.
For 8 consecutive years he worked in the Finance Department of the company Intralot International Ltd, a member of the Intralot Group, while he had a similar presence at the companies Vermantia Media Group, EF Easy Finance, a member of the Societe Generale Group and MGK Oikodomiki.
At the same time, she was actively involved in the field of fashion, both through Public Relations and in the field of modeling, representing Cyprus in an international competition. In the two years 2019 – 2021 she was a presenter of shows on the online channels Cyprus Fashion TV and AAS TV.
Since 2013, he has actively supported ELAM's course through the faction's Presidential Candidacy. From 2017 until today, she works as a Parliamentary Associate of E.LA.M. Monitors the Labor, Finance and Health parliamentary committees.
He has acquired all the necessary certificates related to Speech and Speaking, LCCI Accounting, Computers, Communication and Public Relations, while he is currently studying Digital Marketing.
She has been married since 2016 to Music Producer Dimitris Oikonomou.
Pelekanos Marios
RESUME:
Marios Pelekanos was born on August 21, 1979 and grew up in the neighborhoods of Agios Vasilios Strovolos, while he has been a resident of Latsia for a few months now.
He is a member of the large family of blessed Panagiotis Pelecanos and Despina Karantoni-Pelecanos who both come from the village of Meniko in the province of Nicosia.
He has 3 brothers, the twin brother Christos, George and Cyprus. He is married to Annita Papoui from Athianou. He has three children, Panagiotis, Marilia and Konstantinos.
Academic / Career
He studied at the American Academy of Nicosia (High School) and graduated from Pascal English School (High School).
After completing his military service in 1999, he worked in the private sector for a few months until he was hired by the Bank of Cyprus.
Being employed by the Bank of Cyprus is a milestone in his career as it gave him the necessary financial freedom to be able, as a person with a thirst for learning, to study remotely at the University of Manchester from which he graduated with a BSc in Financial Services (BSc in Banking & Finance). Since then he holds the title of Associate of the London Institute of Banking and Finance.
He also holds the title of Certified Professional Manager from the Institute of Certified Professional Managers of the United States.
In 2007, after an offer he had accepted, he switched to Piraeus Bank. In 2012, following a decision by the Piraeus Group, he assumed a position as a senior executive of its subsidiary Bank in Tirana. The 3 years he lived in Albania are for the same point of reference, since he became a bank executive there.
In 2015 he chooses not to renew his contract and to return home. He left the banking sector behind and created his own business which he still leads today as an Insolvency/Financial Advisor.
In 2017 he takes up a position as a manager in investment funds based in Cyprus.
Political Process
He was elected and served as Municipal Councilor of Strovolos with DISY from 2017 to 2019.
In November 2017, he was elected President of the Organization of Young Scientists of DISY, a position from which he will leave in July 2021 with his appointment to the position of Government Representative.
In January 2019, he leaves the position of Strovolos Municipal Councilor, since he had accepted his appointment by the Council of Ministers to the position of President of the Cyprus Land Development Organization.
A great success of his presidency, among other things, is considered to be the launch of the opening of the affordable rent market.
He also participated as a representative of the OCAG in the Housing Europe organization.
In July 2021, he was appointed by President Anastasiades to the position of Government Representative, a position he maintains until the end of the term of office of the Government.
In May 2023, he is elected to the position of Vice President of DISY. He resigned from his post on 12 February 2024.
On 22/03/2024 he was registered as a member of ELAM.

Hatzigeorgiou Linos Ioannis
RESUME:
Linos Ioannis Hatzigeorgiou was born on May 14, 1997 in Paralimni while he comes from the occupied Famagusta.
He was admitted in 2016 to the Faculty of Law of the European University of Cyprus from which he successfully graduated in 2020 as a Lawyer with a thesis on the "Legal History of the Cyprus Problem". He holds a Master's Degree in "Commercial Law" with a thesis "The problems of the Cyprus Investment Program - Golden Passports" from the University of Sunderland.
He belongs to the ranks of the National People's Front since his teenage years. He was the president of the Youth Front of the National People's Front. He currently works as a combat lawyer.
He speaks English.
He is an active volunteer in struggles to support vulnerable groups, in gatherings of our disadvantaged fellow citizens as well as in actions against ecological destruction.
He is passionate about hunting, fishing and sports.
