RIK poll: N. Anastasiadis remains the favorite of the elections

Nikos Anastasiadis remains the favorite of the presidential elections based on the findings of the second poll conducted on behalf of RIK.

Nikos Anastasiadis records a clear lead over his rivals in both the first and second rounds of the presidential election.
According to the poll, in the intention to vote for the first round of elections, Nikos Anastasiadis registers a percentage of 30%, Nikolas Papadopoulos and Stavros Malas of 15%, Christos Christou of ELAM 4% and George Lillikas 2%.
According to the survey, the undecided amount to 15,5%.
7% do not answer while the abstention amounts to 11%.
With reduction based on the clarified voting intention, Nikos Anastasiadis ranges between 41 and 49%, and Nikolas Papadopoulos and Stavros Malas from 19.5 to 25.5%.
Christos Christou ranges from 4 to 8% and George Lillikas from 2 to 4%.
With Nikolas Papadopoulos as a rival in the second round of elections, Nikos Anastasiadis wins with 38% against 28% of his rival.
Nikos Anastasiadis also beats Stavros Malas with 43% against 25% of his rival.
In the second round scenario with their contenders Nikola Papadopoulos and Stavros Malas, Mr. Papadopoulos secures 35% and Mr. Malas 28%.
In the victory show, Nikos Anastasiadis leads with 68%.
They are followed by Nikolas Papadopoulos with 10%, Stavros Malas with 5% and George Lillikas with 1%.
Based on the poll conducted on behalf of RIK, the highest popularity is recorded by Nikos Anastasiadis with 53%.
They are: Stavros Malas with 45%, Nikolas Papadopoulos with 42%, George Lillikas with 25%, Christos Christou with 20%, Phoivos Mavrovouniotis who withdrew his candidacy with 10%, and Michalis Minas with 5% .
When asked what will count most in the citizens' decision on who to vote for, survey participants highlight the problems of internal governance at 39%.
In second place is the Cyprus issue with 23%.
30% answered that they consider both issues equally important.
56% are interested in the presidential elections, while the intention to participate in the elections amounts to 83%.
The poll was conducted on behalf of RIK by the company Seimar in collaboration with Public Issue, from 11 to 15 December, with a sample of one thousand ten people.
