The President of the Republic, Mr. Nikos Anastasiadis, received today, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Mr. Abdul Latif Bin Rashid Al Zayani.
During the meeting, which was attended by Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulidis, Government Spokesman Nikos Christodoulidis and officials, Mr. Al Zayani said that Saudi Arabia-Cyprus relations have become closer under the leadership of the President.
He also thanked Cyprus for its positions within the EU on issues related to Saudi Arabia.
