- 450 gr. ground beef
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 to 2 cloves garlic, melted
- 3/4 cup spicy tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon grated oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 8 thin tortillas
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- Preheat the oven to 200o. Fry the onion and garlic with the minced meat in a pan.
- Add the tomato sauce, cumin, oregano and salt.
- Simmer for 5 minutes or until liquids evaporate.
- Butter one side of the tortilla and place 1/3 of the tomato and minced meat mixture on the other.
- Close the pie and seal the edges.
- Put the pies in a pan lined with non-stick paper and bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve garnished with yogurt, guacamole and extra spicy tomato sauce.
