The location of the mobile phone of the 32-year-old Albanian, fugitive from Kassandra prison, proved to be decisive for the investigation of the murder of Michalis Zafeiropoulos.

The 32-year-old criminal is the man who shot the well-known lawyer in his office. According to the Police, he tried to find cover and support for his escape from Greece to Roma camps, first in Corinth and then in Patras. Last Saturday, the "bedbug" of EL.AS. "Caught" a conversation of the 32-year-old, in which he asked a friend to help him leave the country.

The police immediately mobilized and arrested him. His 30-year-old accomplice had fled shortly after the October 18th crime to Albania, where he is wanted. The two executors had received orders from three detainees in Korydallos prison. The perpetrators of the "bullying contract" communicated with mobile phones through the prison, drawing in detail the "contract" against the well-known criminologist.

Zafeiropoulos, who had visited Aristides Floros' client in prison the day before the murder, was targeted when the three detainees realized that they could not reach Floros, the head of Energa, in Korydallos. One of the three perpetrators is said to be the person who undertook to find two of his compatriots, who would send the message of intimidation to Zafeiropoulos in order for the imprisoned principals to receive 5.000.000 euros from 39-year-old Aristides Floros. The three of them considered that the 39-year-old owed them 100.000 euros for the death contract they had undertaken in 2014 against the legal representative of the "Electricity Market Officer", George Antonopoulos, who had been shot in Penteli. They decided, however, that they would ask for their money with interest by launching the amount they demanded.

The two Albanians who were "recruited" received an advance of 3.000 euros to shoot Zafeiropoulos in the leg.

The role of "messenger" between the moral and the natural perpetrators was taken over by a woman, whose name the police could not identify. The woman took the 3.000 euros from the perpetrators and handed them over to the two executors to implement the lawyer's intimidation plan.

The two executors, aged 32 and 30, lived in an apartment in Kallithea, where a writ of summons was found that was removed on the day of the murder from Zafeiropoulos' office and related to the Energa case. The document contained the residence address of Aristides Floros.

On the day of the murder, Michalis Zafeiropoulos did not object to the two executors and gave them what they asked for, evidence that he could not avoid the fire. The security police also contacted Aristides Floros, who told them that he had realized in prison that his life was in danger.
