At 25 November is celebrated the World Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. On the occasion of this important day, the Kering Foundation will launch its sixth annual campaign, White Ribbon Day, with the aim of raising awareness about the issue and drawing our attention to the daily violence against women around the world.

For this year's campaign, the Foundation created it ICouldHaveBeen.org, in which he asks those who have not been born girls, to imagine what their life would be like today, if they were women. The visitor of the site must write the name that his parents would give him if he was a girl or, alternatively, take the name of his sister, his mother, a friend or some other woman.

For their part, site visitors are invited to ally with other women as a sign of brotherhood and solidarity with the victims of violence against women, all in the name of HER (She) and inviting men to join their campaign. .

The men taking part in #ICouldHaveBeen, discover all the incidents of violence they would have experienced in their lives so far, if they were born girls and are invited to share them on social networks to inform the rest of the world.

The campaign involves big male fashion names, including designers Alessandro Michele, Christopher Kane, Joseph Altuzzara and Dennis Chan, who also participate in the test, while the Stella McCartney and Salma Hayek Pinault, members of the board of the Kering Foundation, join their voices to invite all girls and women to take part in the campaign and become "She".

"We, as women, are a team, we need to support each other and stay together," said Stella McCartney. "The men are showing their support and now we must all join forces. I am confident that the younger generation of women and men will use their voice and put an end to violence. "
